PARENTS’ HIGHER EDUCATION EVENING, 22 May 2018, 6 pm
The Higher Education Evening is aimed at local parents of students who will be applying to university for 2019 entry. The event will consist of:
‘Applying to Higher Education talk’ which will explain the UCAS application process, point out the important deadlines and advise on how to best support a young person at the time of applying to university;
‘Student Finance talk and Q&A’ which will consider the costs of studying and explain the types of support available, there will be an opportunity to ask questions on Student Finance
‘Q&A session with parents of current students’ will give you the opportunity to ask any further questions about the experiences of parents whose children have gone through the application process already. There will also be an opportunity to speak to staff representing various areas of university, such as Degree Apprenticeships, Student Finance, Support and Housing. This event is open to all parents of students considering applying to Higher Education next year, regardless of whether University of Portsmouth is one of their current choices. You are welcome to bring your children to the event.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided. Free parking is available onsite.
