experience of the workplace

Our students have regular opportunities to gain experience of the workplace through our Training programme and visits to Employer Partners as well as via virtual or in person work experience.

Just this academic year, students have visited; QinetiQ, The Royal Navy Data and Navy Applications Centre (pictured above), Portsmouth International Port, QA Hospital, BAE Systems Augmented Reality Suite and IBM’s Client Innovation Centre.

There have also been opportunities to take part in virtual work experience programmes with Airbus and BAE Systems during the school holidays.

Our Employer Partners also support our students during their T level placement phase.
