UTC Portsmouth is holding its inaugural Sports Day on Friday 22 June. We hope it will be a special event comprising ‘traditional’ sporting events with some rather more ‘different’ events so that everyone can participate. 

It is a whole college occasion, meaning that the UTC building will be closed for the day.  All students and staff will need to make their own way to HMS Temeraire to participate in the range of activities. 

Students should wear their kit to the site, consisting of trainers, black shorts and ideally a t-shirt in the colour of their institute. Centauri is red, Polaris is yellow, Sirius is white and Rigel is blue.  It is advisable for students to also bring along the following:

• hat

• sunblock

• waterproof jacket and warm clothes (if the weather is likely to be changeable)

• Students may wear sunglasses, but may need to remove them when taking part in an event

We would like to invite parents to attend our sports day. There is seating available in the stands and a grassy area is suitable for spectators.  Please note, there is no parking on site during the day. Parking is available on the road outside and paid parking is available in Gunwharf, which is a short walk away.
