A small group of Sixth Form students are off to Winchester College for a talk from Sara Wheeler (Biographer) and Douglas Russell (Natural History Museum) 'The Worst Journey in the World' recounting an expedition across Antarctica in 1910 to retrieve penguin eggs for research. This will be an inspiring talk about the harsh conditions they endured and the achievements they made.
The talk will be accompanied by an exhibition with items loaned by the Scott Polar Research Institute.
