Physics Partners and UTC Portsmouth offer a CPD session for Teachers, trainee teachers, technicians and teaching assistants.

Do you enjoy running the physics required practicals for GCSEs? Do your students engage with them?

Do they work reliably and give good results? Are they set within relevant contexts to explain the reasons for doing them?

We will run a session to help with these questions for the trickier required practicals. It will be a hands-on session where you can learn from other teachers and share your ideas for teaching the required practicals better.

UTC Portsmouth is easily accessible from the city itself and from schools to the West, North and East of Portsmouth. It has first-rate facilities and equipment.

UTC Portsmouth, London Road, PO2 9DU Wednesday 19th June, 4.00 – 5.30pm with refreshments and opportunity to network from 3.30pm.

This CPD session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners and UTC

Portsmouth. The session is part of the Hampshire Physics CPD Network series of

evening sessions for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists and early career

teachers.
