It was really great to see students return from their Christmas and New Year breaks and settle back into learning so well. We have started 2019 in our usual upbeat way and I have been pleased to share with students our plans about forthcoming student leadership positions.

The past few weeks have been a great time at our college. It is clear that students have really settled into college life and it is wonderful to witness students from over 55 previous schools gelling so well and making lots of new friends.

As the days shorten and many of us see the sun far less frequently than we would like, it is always great to hear about as much good news as possible. UTC Portsmouth continues to be a very happy and bright place of learning and some days you would not even notice the Autumn gloom outside.
