As part of British Science Week, our Employer Partner QinetiQ have installed an antenna on the roof of the college to give us our very own Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast (ADS-B) and Automatic Identification System (AIS) transponder technology. This means that UTC Portsmouth can now independently track aircraft and shipping over quite a sizeable distance
