We are very proud to have seven students in Year 11 nominated for Arkwright Engineering Scholarships. They were all nominated based on their academic performance, future plans and the project based learning that they have undertaken in college.
An Arkwright Engineering Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship of its type in the UK to inspire and nurture school-age students to be the country’s future leaders of the Engineering Profession.
The Scholarships are awarded to high-calibre 16 year old students through a rigorous selection process and support students through the two years of their A levels or equivalent qualifications.
Successful students not only benefit from a financial award, they also have access to their own industry mentor and exclusive events with other scholars from around the country.
