Admissions policy 2024-25 consultation

UTC Portsmouth Board of Trustees approved a number of changes to our admissions policy that we are now consulting on.

The main changes made are as follows:

  • The oversubscription criteria for Year 10 has been updated, deleting the criteria for children eligible for service pupil premium.

  • The PAN for Year 12 has been updated and clarified to show that it refers only to applicants who do not currently study at UTC Portsmouth.

  • The relevant dates, such as closing dates, have been updated.

Responses to the consultation can be made to our Clerk to the Board of Governors via letter to the college or emailing clerk@utcportsmouth.org. The deadline for making a response to this consultation is 27 January 2023.
