As a STEM college, we like to embrace all thing science, including the rich world of sci-fi. So it was great to be able to take part in our first 'Star Wars day' on May 4th since we opened.
Students were offered the choice of exchanging an item of clothing for something sci-fi related if they'd like to. Most chose an understated accessory, such a a pip boy from Fallout or a classic light sabre. The staff also joined in with various t-shirts and Star Wars hair styles sported for the day.
Students also enjoyed the chance to play Star Wars Battlefront 2 on Xbox One during lunch and break times in the college theatre, offering a completely unique game playing experience.
