Year 10 & 12 students enjoyed a focused week of activities at the end of March to help them build their skills, thoughts and ideas of what they would like to do when they leave UTC Portsmouth. This was the first time since 2019 that the full version of our Progression Week could take place in person.
We are very grateful to our Employer Partners for helping to make this week possible. They helped us to deliver a number of specialist talks, working lunches, a mock assessment centre scenario, nearly 200 mock interviews and a careers fair.
The week was widely enjoyed by our students and created invaluable opportunities and experiences that we are very proud to have been able to offer with the support of the following Employer Partners; University of Portsmouth, QinetiQ, Royal Navy, Airbus, IBM, Apollo Motor Group, DSTL, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Conrad Manning Racing, Solent University, Carnival, ICEE & UKSA.
